Mid-season

We’re at about the mid-way point in the Farmers’ Market season, nearing the end of the spring greens and moving on into our main season crops.

Bouncing Lambs

20 lambs so far, with a few ewes left to go.  It’s been a gentler world to arrive into this year, green grass without ice and snow.

March Tilling

Well that’s a first, tilling the garden in March.  The growing season seems to be off to an early start, as the thermometer hit 20’C this afternoon.  Photos by Jolene.

Eyrie

Thought I’d share a few views from the guest cabin on the hill, which this fellow was enjoying all to itself from the deck.  Boreal owl, we reckon.  We’re offering a season long farm internship this year which includes eyrie cabin accomodation and plentiful fresh farm food.  More info at Young Agrarians.
