harvest time
It’s been a busy month with harvesting and the last of the markets. Now the garden is tilled, the root cellar is full, squash is curing, rye is ready for milling and the straw is in the barn.
First Markets
First outdoor markets of the season this past weekend. Great turnout despite the rain in Smithers Saturday, but the sun shone for Hazelton on Sunday.
First Greens
The high tunnel is showing the first swaths of green, as the farmers’ market season approaches.
