Springtime has finally arrived on the farm, and the lambs are at their bounciest.
20 lambs so far, with a few ewes left to go. It’s been a gentler world to arrive into this year, green grass without ice and snow.

New calf, more lambs
2 day old JerseyX bull calf to Hazel, any suggestion on names? (I know, you shouldn’t name the boys on the farm…)
Passing April showers are greening things up and getting the garden growing, and leaving behind some beautiful evening light.
The animals are enjoying these first snow and ice free days, not-so-patiently waiting for the world to green up.
All is light
The light is particularly striking at this time of year, as the sun spends a lot of time low to the horizon and the world returns to colour.
