Wwoof-eye view

It’s always fun to see the farm through the eyes of others, here’s some pictures from Willing Workers on Organic Farms Jeanne and Carsten.  Thanks for all the help through haying, harvesting, markets, festival clean-up, weeding, cooking, raspberry pickin’, pea shellin’…

Spring rain

After a week of threatening rain, we finally had a good soak.  Great for the garden, which is now all planted out.

Snowfree

The garden is officially snowfree; what a difference a week makes.  The newly dug garden dyke is holding well (and the hens enjoy their new stream!)

Last Blossoms

Some of the last blossoms of summer, which I fleetingly enjoyed during the busy harvest.  The artichoke buds did not bloom, yet were still enjoyed at the table.

Summer Harvest

Mid-August was hot, summery, and busy in the garden.  Thanks Katrin for the much-appreciated help.
