Winter coats

The animals are donning their winter coats, resigned to the inevitable.

Frost

While the rest of BC is buried under a foot of snow, we finally have a good heavy frost.   Today feels like one of those first bright, crisp days of autumn; the likes of which we haven't had this year due to the mild, wet fall.

Wheat

The sun finally shone long enough to ripen the wheat, about 5 acres of heirloom Red Fife.

River

Perhaps the most pleasant walk from the farm is back along the old forestry road and down to the millennia-old footpath along the Skeena River.

Sauna

Getting back into sauna season Almost time to move the sauna back down the hill to it's winter abode by the house
